Join us for our 5th annual Sweethaven Country Christmas!
Saturdays (November 25 & December 2)
We will be open from 10 am to 6 pm. Tickets are $8 for everyone 10 years of age and up.
All day on Saturdays we will have the Teeny Tiny Farm petting zoo with miniature animals. Enjoy free hayrides. Come shop for lavender gifts/stocking stuffers (10% off), and fresh greenery/wreaths. Savor Christmas treats like hot lavender cocoa and lavender brownies. Take your family Christmas picture with beautiful backdrops.
In the morning we will have free face painting.
In the afternoon starting at 3 pm we will have live Christmas music by the a cappella group The Doorway Singers. Hampton Roads Winery will be serving wine by the glass (including hot mulled wine).
Charcuterie Boxes and Sweets Samplers Add-Ons
These are available by two-day pre-order every day that we are open. Just select that add-on ticket for the day and time you are attending. (Add-ons do not include admission, though admission is free on weekdays.)
The charcuterie box includes rough torn French bread, three cheeses, two varieties of meats, olives, crackers, red grapes, our signature Sweethaven beautyberry jelly, and your choice of hot lavender mulled cider or lavender cocoa. Serves one.
Each sweets sampler box includes a apple lavender galette, sugar cookies rolled in sprinkles, white chocolate lavender fudge, mocha lavender truffles, gingerbread cookies, and chocolate dipped pretzels. Enough for two to share.
Weekdays (November 28, 29, 30 & December 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8)
On weekdays admission is free. Come by from 10 am to 2 pm to do your Christmas shopping (everything in the shop is 10% off). Relax and savor delicious seasonal treats. (The petting zoo, hayrides, live music and wine are only available on Saturdays.)
Live Nativity
Saturday, December 9
Come and experience our third annual live Nativity, featuring real animals, live music, and a message of hope for the weary world! Admission is free but tickets are required.
- Show starts promptly at 12 pm & at 2 pm. Each show lasts approximately 1 hour.
- This is an outdoor performance: there will be live animals and straw in close proximity to guests.
- Please bring your own lawn chairs and bundle up for this outdoor performance.
- After each show, the Mercantile will be open for shopping and hot cocoa and cookies will be served in the barn.
