Join us for our 4th annual Sweethaven Country Christmas! We have different offerings for different days.
Weekdays
November 29, 30 & December 1, 6, 7, 8, 9
On weekdays enjoy free admission. Shop for lavender gifts/stocking stuffers (10% off) and fresh greenery/wreaths. Relax and savor delicious seasonal treats from our cafe from 10am-2pm! Take your family Christmas picture with beautiful backdrops.
Available by two-day pre-order: charcuterie boxes and sweets sampler boxes.
The charcuterie box includes rough torn French bread, three cheeses, two varieties of meats, olives, crackers, red grapes, our signature Sweethaven Beauty Berry jelly, and your choice of hot lavender mulled cider or lavender cocoa. Serves one.
Each sweets sampler box includes a apple lavender galette, sugar cookies rolled in sprinkles, white chocolate lavender fudge, mocha lavender truffles, gingerbread cookies, and chocolate dipped pretzels. Enough for two to share.
Weekends
November 26 & December 2, 3
On weekends we have hayrides and a petting zoo with miniature animals (included with admission). In the afternoon we have music or square dancing. Enjoy hot lavender cider, cocoa and more from the Sweethaven Cafe, mulled wine from Hampton Roads Winery, and baked goods by Plate Fete. Charcuterie boxes and sweets sampler boxes are available for pre-order.
The petting zoo includes mini horse, mini cow, mini donkey, mini llama or alpaca, mini goats, mini sheep, mini pig, chicken, duck, and bunnies!
Tickets
Tickets required for all attendees; no walk-ups.
Weekday tickets: Free admission but tickets required.
Weekend Daytime tickets (10am-3pm): $5 for 5 yrs old & up.
Weekend Twilight tickets (3pm-6pm): $8 for 5 yrs old & up.
Live Nativity tickets: Free admission but tickets required.
November 26th:
- Featuring LIVE music by Corey Pavlosky & Friends from 3-6.
- Available all-day: Teeny Tiny Farm petting zoo, treats by Plate Fete, wine by Hampton Roads Winery, free hayrides, and hot drinks + tasty snacks at the Sweethaven Café!
December 2nd & 3rd:
- Featuring LIVE square dance caller from 3-6.
- Available all-day: Teeny Tiny Farm petting zoo, treats by Plate Fete, wine by Hampton Roads Winery, free hayrides, and hot drinks + tasty treats at the Sweethaven Café!
December 10th:
- Featuring LIVE Nativity with real animals, live music, and a message of hope for the weary world.
- Free refreshments and hayrides to follow.
- Show starts promptly at 12pm & at 2pm. Each show lasts approximately 1 hour.
- This is an outdoor performance: there will be live animals and straw in close proximity to guests.
- Please bring your own lawn chairs and bundle up for this outdoor performance.
- After each show, the Mercantile will be open for shopping, the petting zoo & hayrides will be available, and hot drinks and treats will be served in the barn.
