Jolly Pond Road is essentially a "C" shaped road which has 2 entrances off of Centerville Road. At about the halfway point of Jolly Pond Road there is a dam which was recently closed due to safety concerns. What this means is that if you turn onto Jolly Pond Road at the intersection of Jolly Pond and Centerville where James River Baptist church is located YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCESS OUR FARM.
THE CORRECT TURN ONTO JOLLY POND ROAD is the one closest to Harris Teeter (6485 Centerville Rd., 23188) and Panera Bread. If you're coming from the highway and get off at the Lightfoot exit the turn onto Jolly Pond Rd. will be 1.6 miles from the intersection of Richmond Road and Centerville Road. The right turn is soon after the Colonial Heritage neighborhood entry on Centerville Road.
Once on Jolly Pond Road keep going 5 miles down Jolly Pond.
Yes, the dam is closed, but from this end of Jolly Pond our farm is BEFORE the dam.
ENTRY to the farm is actually on BUSH NECK ROAD. Drive past the residential driveway at 2301 Jolly Pond Road and turn right on Bush Neck Road. The farm entry is on the right. Follow the gravel path until you're as close to the barn as the fence allows.
The arched doors on the barn are the entry to Sweethaven Mercantile.
